Job summary

Sonicu is seeking a senior Product Designer to own the end-to-end SoniCloud design, from research to frontend implementation, on-site in Indianapolis. You will establish a system, shape discovery and roadmaps, and influence product direction while working with engineering to modernize core workflows and dashboards.

You’ll lead design reviews, build a cohesive design system, and craft data-dense interfaces for alarms, compliance reporting, and mobile workflows.

Qualifications

• 5+ years designing and shipping digital products.
• Experience with information architecture and design systems.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design and modern toolchains (Figma).
• Experience designing data-dense interfaces (dashboards, monitoring).
• Ability to build or influence frontend code and participate in code reviews.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end design of SoniCloud, including research, flows, wireframes, UI, and prototypes.
• Lead design reviews and establish lightweight QA processes to improve consistency.
• Modernize user experience across core workflows and navigation.
• Collaborate with engineering to build and maintain a design system and accessible patterns.
• Design for high-stakes, data-dense views and alarm-related workflows.
• Plan and conduct user research and post-release usability evaluations.
• Frame problems with Product & Delivery Lead and translate decisions into deliverables.
• Contribute to on-device displays and the handoff between hardware, app, and support.
