Job summary

Zendesk is seeking a Lead Product Designer for the AI Agents team to shape intuitive, trusted AI automation experiences across messaging, voice, and email. You will collaborate with designers worldwide and partner with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Data teams to translate complex capabilities into simple, useful customer experiences.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of product design experience in SaaS
• Experience designing generative AI, automation, or AI-assisted workflows
• Ability to operate in a technical environment and visualize impact of technical decisions
• Portfolio demonstrates end-to-end product design and impact on shipped experiences

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design for AI Agents experiences from discovery to launch and iteration
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Data teams to translate complex capabilities into simple experiences
• Establish reusable design patterns, principles, and quality standards for a consistent AI Agents experience
• Use AI-enabled tools to accelerate discovery, ideation, synthesis, and prototyping while validating outputs against evidence
