Lead Product Designer

Work arrangement: Fully Remote

Your Opportunity

You will play a key role in designing user experiences that enable engineers to handle data, ingest, query, alert on, and analyze telemetry data. You will craft visualizations, workflows, interactions, and more, working closely with product managers, engineers, and UX team members to shape the developer and admin experience within New Relic One.

What You'll Do
  1. Lead product design by creating user flows, interfaces, interactions, and experiences through mockups, diagrams, and prototypes.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess user needs and deliver high-quality experiences.
  3. Work with engineers during discovery and implementation to ensure design quality and user adoption.
  4. Gather user research and analytics to champion a developer-centric experience.
  5. Support and evolve design standards and systems.
  6. Apply comprehensive design thinking to complex technical challenges in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Contribute to the larger design community and uphold high standards and best practices.
This Role Requires
  • 7+ years of experience in enterprise software, developer tools, or SaaS products.
  • Ability to work effectively in agile, fast-paced environments.
  • Experience with user research, analytics, and data-driven design refinement.
  • A portfolio showcasing your best work.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch, InVision.
  • Experience working with distributed global teams.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English.
Bonus Points
  • Advanced degree in Design, HCI, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS, Azure, GCP.
  • Experience with ethnographic and usability research.
  • Background in SaaS or enterprise software.
