Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is seeking a technically proficient Product Compliance Engineer to lead regulatory activities for UL, DOT, and related safety and transportation standards for our enclosure products. You will collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to certify, test and maintain compliant products throughout the lifecycle.

This role requires hands-on documentation, audits, and ongoing improvement of compliance processes, with emphasis on timely

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Experience in product compliance, regulatory engineering, or quality.
• Experience with third‑party test labs and certification bodies.
• Strong technical writing, communication and project management skills.
• Preferred: PE license or related compliance certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead certification, listing, registration and regulatory approvals for enclosure products.
• Serve as subject matter expert for UL, DOT and regulatory testing requirements.
• Lead compliance strategies during new product development.
• Own UL registration and compliance throughout the product lifecycle.
• Submit and maintain documents for DOT compliance and ongoing transportation requirements.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on products.
• Maintain technical files, certifications and audit records.
• Collaborate with Quality and Manufacturing to resolve compliance issues.
• Develop compliance procedures, training materials and best practices.
• Maintain testing documentation to support registrations and ongoing compliance.
