Job summary

Kinross Gold Corporation's Round Mountain mine in Nevada seeks a Processing General Supervisor to lead safe, reliable day-to-day ore processing operations and achieve production, recovery, and cost objectives.

Reporting to the Processing Superintendent, you will coordinate with maintenance, mining, metallurgy, and technical services while developing high-performing teams through clear expectations, coaching, and accountability.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years in processing or ore processing operations.
• Minimum five years in a supervisory leadership role.
• High school diploma or GED; technical training in mineral processing, metallurgy, mechanical systems, or related field preferred.
• Ability to lead crews and drive safe, reliable production in a fast-paced mining environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills across all levels and fair policy application.
• Experience with plant reporting systems, Microsoft Office, and CMMS (JDE) preferred.
• Must be 18+ and authorized to work in the United States; valid driver’s license.

• Lead safety culture and ensure environmental stewardship.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
• Conduct safety meetings, inspections, and follow-up actions.
• Hold teams and contractors accountable to safe practices.
• Develop supervisors to build a high-performing processing team.
• Set expectations, monitor performance, and coach employees.
• Oversee daily processing operations to meet production, recovery targets.
• Coordinate with mining, maintenance, metallurgy, and technical services.
• Monitor KPIs and respond to deviations and risks.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives for reliability and cost.
