Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation in Wickliffe, Ohio seeks a Process Technology Leader, Dispersants & Viscosity Modifiers, to advance next‑generation manufacturing processes. You will lead a global engineering team, drive METp initiatives, and partner with R&D, Tollers, and operations to deliver high-performance processes.

Ideal candidates bring a BS in Chemical Engineering, 7+ years in chemical manufacturing/process development, and 3+ years in people management.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in chemical manufacturing and/or process development.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing Engineers.
• Demonstrated success in driving change in a matrix organization.
• Excellent communication and networking skills.
• Sound project management skills.
• Exhibits a continuous improvement mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Dispersants & Viscosity Modifiers Process Technology team and drive cross-functional engagements.
• Develop and implement MET Plus and MET Prime technologies and lead global productivity initiatives.
• Lead scale-up activities for new products and pilot processes.
• Lead product and process FMEAs to manage risk and safety.
• Ensure compliance with Technology License Agreements and partner with operations for productivity opportunities.
• Develop high-performance engineering talent and promote Lean startup thinking.
