Job summary

Reader Precision Solutions, Inc. in Wisconsin is seeking a Process Improvement Engineering Manager to lead the Process Improvement Engineering team and own execution of optimization projects across machining and manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on improving machining efficiency, reducing cycle times, enhancing process stability, and production quality while collaborating with Engineering, Production and Quality to implement sustainable improvements. It's a hands-on leadership role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent years of experience.
• 5+ years in manufacturing engineering, CNC machining or process improvement environments.
• 2+ years of leadership, mentorship, or project management experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of CNC machining principles, tooling concepts, and production workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Process Improvement Engineer team in daily activities and long-term growth.
• Own project management for all process improvement initiatives, including scope, timeline, and deliverables.
• Drive cycle time reduction, tooling performance, workflow optimization, and product consistency.
