Job summary

Milliken and Company is seeking a Continuous Improvement Lead at the Pendleton Plant in Pendleton, SC. This role reports to the Process Improvement Manager or Operations Manager and drives manufacturing process improvements to raise performance, quality, and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities include leading multiple improvement projects, applying DOE and advanced statistical tools, and developing real-time dashboards for plant leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Textile Engineering.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Manufacturing experience or internship is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead continuous improvement efforts at the Pendleton plant.
• Manage multiple improvement projects with sound project management.
• Analyze problems and implement data-driven solutions using DOE and statistical tools.
• Apply DOE methodologies to monitor process variation and drive improvements.
• Create diagrams, charts, and tables to reflect findings and support recommendations.
• Collaborate with Product Development to create new samples and products.
• Communicate with a diverse group of associates to meet site goals.
• Participate in Safety processes and lead data analyses to reduce defects.
