## Lead Process Engineer - Vertical Integration MetalsApplylocations: Idaho - Lewistontime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: 2026-21070***As a Lead Process Engineer, a typical day might include:**** Lead and support a team of engineers, technicians and specialists in a high-mix, low-volume and prototyping environment where priorities shift quickly.* Troubleshoot and drive to root cause on production challenges in real time, working directly with operators to resolve tolerance, fixturing, and process issues.* Develop and refine build plans, ensuring parts move efficiently through punching, forming, machining, welding, and coating.* Create and improve clear, practical work instructions that drive consistency and quality on the floor.* Oversee and optimize CAM programs to improve setup efficiency, repeatability, and throughput.* Mentor engineers and technicians, raising the technical capability and problem-solving skills of the team.* Specify and procure new equipment, helping drive long-term capability, capacity, and process improvements.***Essential Duties and Responsibilities**** Lead engineers, associate engineers, and technicians in the expansion, development, deployment, and sustainment of manufacturing processes.* Mentors and coaches other engineers and technicians.* Assist management in developing and driving the execution of operational and strategic objectives.* Drive high quality and efficiency in the manufacturing processes, operations and tools.* Manages or prepares documentation, including experiments, component and equipment qualifications, assembly materials qualifications, etc.* Model, teach, and apply SEL Values, Principles of Operations, and World Class Manufacturing Principles.* Understand.
