Job summary

RWDY Inc. seeks a Process Engineer II to lead a design team through process design specifications and oversee engineering contractors during front-end design and detailed engineering for projects in the Bakken and Midland basins.

Responsibilities include process design, procurement support, and maintaining standard designs. Travel about 25% with full reimbursement; responsibilities cover commissioning support and start-up assistance as needed, in an owner/operator environment requiring strong

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in petroleum refining / chemical process industry with an engineering contractor.
• Capital project development experience.
• Ability to adapt to tight deadlines and frequent changes in priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.
• Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially for technical and business communications.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and lead junior engineers in developing process design specifications (heat & material balances, design flow plans, equipment design, hydraulic and utility balances).
• Lead and/or perform process optimization studies to identify capital and operating cost savings.
• Provide technical oversight for engineering contractor work during FEED and detailed engineering.
• Participate in Hazard & Operability Reviews for new/modified facilities.
• Provide commissioning and start-up assistance for new/modified facilities.
