Job summary

Qnity’s Silicon Valley Technology Center (SVTC) seeks a Lead Process Engineer to guide R&D projects in process engineering and fabrication for advanced electronics. You’ll become a local SME in thermal engineering and collaborate with cross-functional teams serving Silicon Valley OEMs.

The role emphasizes hands-on development, scale-up, and translating research into practical thermal solutions while engaging customers and leading initiatives across disciplines.

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or extensive industrial experience in applicable fields.
• 10+ years of directly applicable engineering work experience.
• Proficiency with design and modeling software (Anysis, Comsol, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Proficiency with characterization tools and methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead applications development projects related to process engineering and fabrication techniques.
• Drive customer solutions from concept to commercialization.
• Collaborate with SMEs to form a strong engineering team.
• Adapt to changing priorities based on customer needs.
• Engage with Silicon Valley customers to understand needs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to development.
