Job summary

We are seeking a Process Engineering Manager at Noveon Magnetics in San Marcos, TX. You will lead the engineering team to drive operational excellence across grinding, wire EDM, deburring, coating, and inspection, bridging product design, quality, and scalable production.

The role requires a BS in engineering, 8+ years in precision manufacturing with 3+ years in leadership, experience with automated inspection, and Six Sigma/Lean certification. Strong problem solving and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/industrial/materials engineering (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years in precision manufacturing; 3+ years in engineering leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead process design and optimization across grinding, wire EDM, deburring, coating and inspection.
• Standardize cycle times, tooling, process parameters, and SOPs for high‑precision components.
• Reduce scrap and COPQ via DFM and Cp/Cpk analyses.
• Lead automation scaling of vision systems and inline metrology.
• Partner with Quality to resolve nonconformances and establish SPC limits.
• Manage, mentor, and build a high-performing team of engineers and technicians.
• Drive CapEx projects from justification through IQ/OQ/PQ.
