Worley is recruiting a Project Manager in Monrovia/Long Beach, California to lead large Chemicals & Fuels projects, including brownfield facilities and regulatory-driven work. You will drive governance, safety culture, and cross-functional performance across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.

The role requires 12+ years in energy/chemicals project leadership and a strong track record in EPCM/EPC delivery, with emphasis on safety, risk, and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience (typically 12+ years) in project management, engineering, or technical leadership within the energy or power sectors.
• Experience delivering large and mega scale Chemicals & Fuels projects, including EPCM and EPC delivery models.
• Strong knowledge of constructability, operability, maintainability, and process safety expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide overall leadership and strategic direction for large and mega scale Chemicals & Fuels projects.
• Establish clear project objectives, success criteria, and execution strategies aligned with contract, customer, and Worley requirements.
• Ensure robust project governance, decision making frameworks, and accountability across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and startup.
• Lead and mentor Project Managers, Engineering Managers, and Project Engineers.
