Job summary

Tosoh SMD, Inc. in Grove City, OH is seeking a Process Engineer II to support TSMD’s manufacturing and R&D operations. You will apply advanced engineering principles, lead projects, and develop procedures and training materials for a technical area.

The role requires strong problem-solving skills, SPC/lean experience, and knowledge of CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and GD&T. Collaboration with suppliers and customers is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Master’s degree preferred.
• Experience with structured problem solving, SPC, lean, and FMEA.
• Experience in automation, robotics, and lean manufacturing.
• Knowledge of CNC machining, CAD/CAM software, and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced engineering principles in a specific technical area.
• Lead projects and identify opportunities aligned with goals and metrics.
• Document work and present results to cross-functional groups.
• Develop and maintain procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
• Lead cross-functional teams on projects and initiatives.
• Support onboarding and training of interns, technicians, and Engineer I personnel.
• Maintain 5S standards and safety compliance.
• Communicate risks to leadership and assist in resolution.
