Nexus Circular in Atlanta seeks a Process Engineering Leader to own the engineering scope from early concept through startup. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and 10–15 years of relevant experience, including strong hands-on capabilities with Aspen Plus or equivalent. The role involves cross-functional collaboration, and mentoring junior engineers, playing a critical role in technology commercialization. Qualifications
10–15 years of experience in chemical, petrochemical, refining, or advanced recycling.
Experience taking at least one technology/project from concept to startup.
Solid understanding of process safety, operability, and design standards (API, ASME, etc.).
Comfortable working in fast-growth, ambiguous environments.
Responsibilities
Own process engineering across the full project lifecycle.
Convert Nexus technology into executable process designs.
Lead and participate in HAZID, HAZOP, LOPA, and operability reviews.
Establish process engineering workflows and standards.
Mentor and grow future process engineers.
