Job summary

Rangam is seeking a hands-on Continuous Improvement & Automation Engineer in Davie, FL, to independently identify, assess, and implement large-scale opportunities that reduce waste and lift manufacturing performance in an FDA-regulated environment.

The role emphasizes leading automation builds through analysis, solution development, training, implementation, and sustainment with cross-functional teams in GMP settings. Strong project ownership is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in industrial/manufacturing/mechanical engineering required.
• 2–3 years pharma experience, including at least 2 years in Oral Solid Dosage or tableting/compression operations.
• Led waste-reduction or automation projects as primary executor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct process studies, time studies, waste assessments, and bottleneck analysis to identify improvement and automation opportunities.
• Develop evidence-based opportunity assessments covering baseline, expected operational and financial benefit, implementation needs, cost, risk, timing, and sustainment approach.
• Own approved projects from analysis through solution build, training, implementation, benefit realization, and sustainment, coordinating with Operations, Finance, Quality, Engineering, and IT/OT as required.
• Develop and deploy practical digital and analytics tools, including Power BI dashboards and Power Automate workflows, to eliminate non-value-added work.
• Improve OEE, changeover/setup time, labor productivity, throughput, and capacity across manufacturing, laboratories, offices, and warehouse operations.
