Qualifications

• Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree and experience equivalent to three years of full-time professional level experience in probation/parole, counseling, social work, investigative, or legal fields.
• Experience substituted for education: Full-time relevant professional experience may substitute for the degree.
• Graduate coursework in social science, behavioral science, criminal justice, criminology, social work, or law may substitute for experience up to two years.

Responsibilities

• Case Compliance & Enforcement: Request and process arrest warrants for non-compliance and evaluate offender information.
• Team Leadership & Staff Development: Lead daily operations within the specialized unit and mentor staff.
• Case Analysis & Problem Resolution: Review reports and respond to offender concerns promptly and professionally.
• Performance Monitoring & Standards Compliance: Use monthly reports to verify adherence to supervision standards and document progress.
• Casework Auditing & Quality Assurance: Audit staff case files and conduct annual offender interviews to assess quality.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with judges, court staff, law enforcement, and community providers.
• Professional Conduct & Workplace Culture: Maintain respectful interactions and a professional environment.
• Risk Assessment & Evidence Based Intervention: Conduct validated risk assessments and coordinate services.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain thorough case records and report monthly caseload activity.
