Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation seeks a Senior Private LTE / 5G Core Network Architect to lead architecture, design, integration, cybersecurity, and lifecycle support for private wireless environments. You will influence strategy and oversee EPC/5G core, RAN integration, backhaul, and operational readiness for mission-critical utility networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or sciences; highly qualified candidates preferred.
• 10+ years of related work experience in telecom or critical infrastructure.
• Experience with LTE EPC, 5G Core, Private LTE/5G and RAN integration.
• Knowledge of IP/MPLS, backhaul, and transport architectures in industrial settings.
• Security architecture experience for PLTE/Private 5G environments.

Responsibilities

• Represent BV as SME for private LTE and 5G core technologies with clients and project teams.
• Lead architecture workshops, design reviews, security reviews, and vendor evaluations.
• Translate PLTE/5G topics into clear technical and executive recommendations.
• Provide mentoring to engineers on private wireless, transport, and security disciplines.
• Define core network architecture and end-to-end designs for PLTE deployments.
