Job summary
HP IQ in San Francisco seeks a Senior Privacy Engineer to lead privacy controls across software, cloud, AI, and connected devices. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years in privacy/security engineering or related roles.
- 3+ years leading cross-functional privacy initiatives.
- Experience presenting privacy risk to executive leadership.
- Strong understanding of GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework.
Responsibilities
- Implement Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default across SDLC.
- Conduct PIAs, DPIAs, and privacy risk assessments.
- Interpret regulatory requirements and translate to technical controls.
- Support GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, ISO 27701, NIST Privacy Framework compliance.
- Assist with audits and regulatory inspections.
- Collaborate with product security to align privacy and cybersecurity controls.
- Review architectures for privacy compliance.
- Define logging, monitoring, access controls, IAM, and data protection mechanisms.
