Job summary

Amcor is seeking a printing technician to ensure safe and efficient operation on the production floor in Sarasota. You will setup printers and case packers, monitor print quality, and maintain production rates with minimal scrap while adhering to safety standards.

You will also train new technicians, complete daily documents, and lead peers to maintain a clean, organized work area. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to Amcor's quality and safety values.

Qualifications

• Must complete daily checklist and first piece inspection.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Willingness to train and mentor fellow printing technicians.

Responsibilities

• Set up printers and case packers for production.
• Maintain production rates with minimal scrap.
• Supply ink and stir ink as necessary; monitor print quality.
• Wash blankets and plates; ensure color heads are cleaned and ready for next run.
• Perform plate changes and size changes; follow the production schedule.
• Provide leadership and direction to other print techs; complete WebEFF paperwork.
