Job summary

Amcor in the United States (OH) seeks a Printing Operator to monitor and insure the quality of containers and lids per specifications, while maintaining a clean work area and following GMP, SQF, and ISO standards.

The role involves making minor color and blanket adjustments during production, reporting injuries or unsafe conditions, and coordinating with Printing and other departments for smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Required ability to monitor and insure quality of containers and lids per specifications.
• Ability to follow GMP, SQF and ISO standards.
• Willingness to report injuries or safety concerns promptly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and insure quality of containers and lids per specifications.
• Follow all plant Life Saving Behaviors and safety guidelines.
• Maintain high housekeeping around the work area during shifts.
• Perform miscellaneous tasks for Printing or other departments as needed.
• Clean and adjust machines to meet specifications during production runs.
• Complete required paperwork during or at end of shift.
• Shut down the press and call technical staff if customer quality expectations are not met.
• Make minor color and blanket adjustments after proper training.
• Stop production if working conditions are hazardous.
