Job summary

The Industry Solution Engineer is a scale-focused, field-empowering role that builds and scales industry-specific solution assets across Manufacturing, Automotive, and Energy & Utilities. You will blend deep industry and AI expertise with a passion for repeatability, building reusable assets, driving field enablement, and supporting high-impact customer engagements, collaborating with Solutions, Product, and the COE."

What You Will Be Doing
  • Scale and Build Industry Solutions: Lead industry solution initiatives by partnering with internal working groups to build demo assets, content hubs, and customer videos.
  • Enable Our Solution Engineers and Field Teams: Conduct internal enablement, demos, and training sessions to help others leverage pre-built industry assets and content. Be the go-to expert on what's available and how to use it to win.
  • Be the Voice of the Field: Partner with Product, Industry, the COE, and Go-To-Market teams to enhance demo environments and ensure solutions evolve based on customer feedback and industry trends.
  • Support Strategic Customer Engagements: Support Account SEs and join key pursuits as an industry subject matter expert to support discovery, demo strategy, and overall deal positioning.
  • Establish a Feedback and Innovation Loop: Capture customer success stories, win/loss insights, and field input to inform product improvements and sales strategy.
  • Develop and Deliver Compelling Solution Visions, Roadmaps, and Tailored Demonstrations: Showcase the value of Salesforce through industry-proven use cases.
  • Lead AI Tooling Adoption and Enablement: Evaluate and leverage new tools to streamline productivity and how SEs do the job today.
  • Support High-Impact Customer Events: Drive content and strategy for Dreamforce sessions, product innovation hubs, and customer summits.
What We're Looking For

  • Strong technical foundation in AI, building demos, and expertise other SEs can lean on.
  • Proven project management and orchestration skills to align internal stakeholders to meet deliverable timelines.
  • Confidence in presenting to C-level executives and guiding strategic conversations.
  • Proven ability to run thoughtful discovery sessions that uncover true customer needs.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a matrixed organization and lead through influence.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a curiosity to understand the why behind challenges and solutions.
  • Passion for innovation and a drive to keep learning and improving.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in pre-sales, solution engineering, or Salesforce implementation.
  • Background in working with or within Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy & Utilities, or Retail & Consumer Goods (preferred but not required).
  • Experience building solution assets or participating in scale initiatives.
  • Familiarity with the Salesforce tech stack, including the industry clouds and Agentforce.
  • Obtained Salesforce certifications.
  • Experience with complex solution selling and/or ROI-based selling strategies.
  • Successful project leadership in a highly matrixed organization to build collaboration and be a multiplier.
  • Computer science degree or technical equivalent experience.
