Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent experience plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Top Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Lead Pricing Analyst (Sr Advanced Pricing Spec) to join our Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to secure new business and improve financial performance and profitability. Employees work closely with esteemed clients on high-stakes national security missions, developing solutions that support critical defense services. The role involves proposal pricing, financial reporting/analysis, and cost proposal development.

The Lead Pricing Analyst is crucial in securing financially viable new business and acts as a subject matter expert in contract pricing, financial analysis, and cost proposal development.

Detailed Responsibilities:

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for GDMS pricing policies, procedures, tools, and techniques.
• Develop innovative solutions for complex customer pricing requirements.
• Perform all job aspects independently with minimal direction.
• Interact with management on strategic pricing and estimating issues.
• Ensure compliance with pricing systems and tools.
• Provide pricing guidance to proposal managers and estimators.
• Support complex pricing activities and develop cost volumes for large opportunities.
• Manage all aspects of cost proposal development, including analysis of RFP requirements, pricing strategies, and preparation of cost proposals and reviews.
• Understand government regulatory requirements (FAR, DFARS, CAS).
• Maintain detailed records and prepare accurate cost proposal deliverables.
• Uphold strong business ethics and company culture.
• Possess strong PC skills, especially in Microsoft Word and Excel; experience with estimating and financial systems is desired.
• Communicate effectively at all organizational levels and work efficiently as part of a team.
