Meet the team:

The Lead Analyst, Commercial Pricing will report to the Senior Manager of Commercial Pricing and will serve as the pricing and analytics lead for Dexcom’s worldwide pricing organization. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding the global pricing strategy and developing pricing dashboards and analytics to review historical pricing performance and forecast future pricing trends.

Where you come in:

  1. You will execute pricing strategies and activities designed to achieve revenue, profitability, and market access objectives across DexCom’s business channels.
  2. You synthesize and analyze market research, historical sales data, and competitive pricing to review customer pricing models and go-forward strategies.
  3. You are the subject matter expert on all Pricing dashboards and reporting.
  4. You lead and assist in the execution of pricing objectives, pricing programs, and pricing analytics.
  5. You will interpret and implement pricing guidance and provide specific recommendations to high-level business partners.
  6. You manage and develop market segmentation to contribute to company’s gross margin targets.
  7. You will review and report on top customers trends to determine the success of pricing initiatives.
  8. You understand the comprehensive product portfolio including the attributes of the clinical benefits to appropriately determine product pricing.
  9. You will partner with cross-functional employees to build a cohesive pricing plan and gather pricing approvals as required.
  10. You operationalize international price forecasting capabilities and partner with relevant stakeholders to fine tune forecasting accuracy.

What makes you successful:

  1. You have financial modeling experience for international pricing scenarios.
  2. You bring experience working directly in Pricing, Finance, or Sales Operations in the Medical Device or Life Science industry.
  3. You are a power user of data analytics tools (e.g., Tableau and Hyperion) with the ability to be the team lead on analytics.
  4. You are comfortable working in a matrixed environment, leading cross-functional discussions, and solving complex problems.
  5. You are a detail-oriented self-starter who takes ownership of work.
  6. You have experience with new product launches.
  7. You bring a comprehensive understanding of medical device and/or pharmaceutical pricing in international markets (preferred).

Exempt Salary Details:

  • The annual base salary range for this role is $91,400 to $152,300. Final compensation package will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, business needs and market demand.
Experience and Education
  • Typically requires a Bachelors degree and a minimum of 8-12 years of related experience.
  • At this level a graduate degree may be desirable with 4 years of related experience.
