Messer Americas seeks a Lead Pressure Vessel and Piping Engineer to provide technical leadership within the Project Execution department. You will guide design, specification, fabrication, repair, operation, and code compliance of static equipment across cryogenic air separation, hydrogen production, and CO2 purification/liquefaction projects.

You will drive capital project deliverables, provide preliminary equipment design bases for proposals, support operations for mechanical integrity issues,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering; PE is a plus.
• 7–15 years of relevant experience in process piping and/or pressure vessel engineering.
• Strong knowledge of industry codes and inspection practices.

Responsabilités

• Lead technical authority for pressure vessel and piping engineering across multiple concurrent capital projects.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables including calculations, specifications, datasheets, and vessel designs.
• Oversee engineering contractor work and QA/QC deliveries for Messer projects.
• Lead HAZOPs, risk assessments and incident investigations; drive risk mitigation actions.
• Support mechanical integrity and lifecycle assessments; mentor other engineers.
