Job summary

Eastern Greene Schools is seeking a passionate Lead Preschool Teacher for our Early Learning Center in Indiana. This year-round role focuses on preparing students for kindergarten by supporting their academic, social, emotional, and developmental growth in a structured, nurturing environment.

The Lead Teacher will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons, work with assistants, and build strong partnerships with families to ensure a positive early learning experience and school

Qualifications

• Indiana childcare licensing requirements must be met.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current CPR, First Aid, and Safe Sleep certifications are required or obtainable upon hire.
• CDA in Preschool or ability to obtain upon hire.
• Background check and pre-employment drug screening completed.

Responsibilities

• Lead classroom instruction focused on early learning and school readiness.
• Support assistant staff and collaborate with families for positive outcomes.
• Plan developmentally appropriate lessons emphasizing literacy and numeracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom with proper staff-to-child ratios.
• Complete required documentation, assessments, and attendance.
