Qualifications

• Must meet state licensing requirements for Lead Teachers.
• 6-12 months of early childhood or classroom experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain background clearances and health screenings.

Responsibilities

• Create a warm, welcoming classroom environment emphasizing dignity and respect.
• Build positive relationships with children and families with daily greetings and communication.
• Implement developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with Cadence programs.
• Ensure safety and supervision per Cadence policies and licensing.
• Use Cadence systems to communicate with families and staff.
• Document accidents, incidents, and escalated behaviors per policy.
• Follow Employee Handbook policies and procedures.
• Participate in trainings, meetings, and development, possibly outside regular hours.
• Flexibility in scheduling based on enrollment and staffing needs.
