Job summary

The Growing Years is a licensed childcare center seeking Lead Preschool and Lead Pre-K Teachers to support Preschool and Pre-K age groups. Qualified candidates must have a high school diploma and pass all background checks; an associate or bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, or 12 ECE credits is required.

Shifts are Mon–Fri, 8:30am–5:30pm or similar, with compensation of $18–$20 per hour and a comprehensive benefits package including insurance, 401k with match,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required and ability to pass background checks.
• An associate or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field, or 12 ECE credits.
• Previous childcare experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans for Preschool and Pre-K developmentally appropriate activities.
• Implement weekly curriculum across all areas of child development and communicate with parents via app.
• Maintain a safe, organized classroom and build rapport with families.
• Conduct biannual parent/teacher conferences and document child progress.
