Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is hiring a Teacher in Austin, TX to lead the classroom, deliver our curriculum, and create a safe, nurturing space where children can learn and grow. You’ll partner with parents and center staff to support enrollment and family engagement.

Requirements include a CDA credential or NAECY candidacy, CPR/First Aid, 2–3 years ECE experience, and a Bachelor’s in ECE (preferred). State qualifications and physical requirements apply; English communication is essential.

Qualifications

• CDA credential or NAECY candidacy required.
• 2–3 years of Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state-specific qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in the classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center's success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
