Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Michigan teaching certificate with ZA/ZS or Birth-K/PK-3 endorsements.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education with preschool specialization.
• Assist with program planning, assessment, and family collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Implement developmentally-appropriate instruction with a research-based curriculum.
• Follow PBIS and district guidelines.
• Maintain required records for grant compliance and licensing.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in program activities.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and empower them in classroom instruction.
• Engage in home visits to support children's educational needs.
• Prepare progress reports and anecdotal portfolios for each child.
