Big Blue Marble Academy is hiring an Early Child Care Lead Teacher in South Carolina. The role focuses on planning play-based activities that take children on global adventures while building developmentally appropriate skills.

You will develop strong daily connections with families, using electronic reports to share milestones and ensure safety protocols in the classroom are followed. We offer on-the-job training and career growth toward leadership positions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• At least six months experience in childcare, daycare or preschool.
• Employees must stand (six to eight hours daily), stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, bend while working with children.
• Must lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
• Must visually supervise children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities using a play-based curriculum.
• Develop rapport with families daily and share milestones via electronic reports.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
