Job summary

Big Blue Marble Academy in Lexington, SC is seeking a Lead Teacher to guide our infant, toddler, and preschool program with a world-inspired, play-based curriculum. You will join a team that values teamwork, inclusion, and a path from Assistant Teacher to Center Director through on-the-job training and development.

As the Lead Teacher, you will plan engaging activities, build rapport with families daily, and follow enhanced safety guidelines to ensure a nurturing, safe classroom environment.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
• SC Child Care Credential or CDA.
• Six months of licensed childcare experience preferred.
• Early Childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and supervise children visually.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based activities for infants, toddlers and preschoolers.
• Develop daily rapport with families and share milestones via electronic reports.
• Follow enhanced safety guidelines to keep the classroom clean and safe.
