Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to lead curriculum delivery in line with each child’s needs, while coaching peers and modeling best practices. You will create a safe, nurturing classroom and actively engage families to support learning and development outcomes.

You will collaborate with center staff and leadership to support enrollment goals, accreditation processes, and community partnerships, ensuring high-quality care across classrooms.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE Experience
• Meet & maintain the state-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom setting
• Outstanding customer service skills, strong organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively
• Able to see and hear well enough to keep children safe, and engage in physical activity with children
• CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
• Read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents in English

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
