Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is seeking a Sr. Teacher to join our team. You will lead classroom implementation of our curriculum, mentor peers, and create a safe, engaging environment for young learners.

You will help children build confidence and curiosity every day. You will partner with families and center leadership to support enrollment goals, uphold accreditation, and deliver high-quality early childhood education across our nationwide network.

Qualifications

• 6 months of center-based ECE experience.
• State-specific requirement to supervise children alone in a classroom setting.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational skills, and multitasking.
• Ability to see/hear well and engage in physical activity with children.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• English literacy to communicate with children and their parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
