Job summary

Ivy Kids is seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher to plan and implement the daily curriculum for children in your classroom, while creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.

You will supervise the assistant teacher, maintain classroom records and developmental checklists, ensure health and safety procedures, and communicate with families via the parent app, while aligning with Ivy Kids standards and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Able to lift up to 50+ pounds and move children
• Excellent communication with children and parents
• At least 24 hours of training per year for lead teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement the Ivy Kids curriculum activities
• Keep accurate records of each child’s developmental milestones, accidents, anecdotes, and attendance
• Ensure ASQs are conducted on time
• Know state standards and follow Ivy Kids procedures
• Provide daily communication to parents via the parent app
• Attend staff meetings and trainings
• Train new staff on program practices and forms
