BrightPath Kids in Farmington, CT is hiring for a full-time early childhood educator. You will supervise children 6 weeks through 12 years in one classroom, create NAEYC-aligned curriculum, and partner with families to support each child's development.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or CDA or Head Teacher cert or 12 ECE credits or Bachelor's required.
• 2+ years of licensed child care experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and supervision of children ages 6 weeks to 12 years in one classroom.
• Create developmentally appropriate curriculum per NAEYC standards.
• Curate programs based on children’s interests and learning styles.
• Maintain a warm, clean, safe environment for growth and exploration.
• Partner with families to plan best care and education for their children.
• Provide effective communication with parents/guardians.
