Little Scholars Learning Center in Chelsea, Manhattan is seeking a caring Lead Preschool Teacher to join our team. This full-time, in-person role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive hourly pay, and a $250 sign-on bonus.

You will plan age-appropriate, play-based learning activities, foster a welcoming classroom, track progress, and collaborate with families and staff to support every child’s development.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 12 Early Childhood Education credits.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children.
• Understanding of child development and developmentally appropriate teaching practices.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
• Patient, dependable, nurturing, and empathetic approach to early childhood education.
• Ability to meet applicable New York State and licensing requirements.
• Reliable ability to commute to 600 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011.

Position Details

Location: 600 6th Ave, New York, NY 10011
Pay: $24.00–$27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Sign-on Bonus: $250
