Job summary

StarChild Academy, part of Endeavor Schools, seeks a Lead Preschool Teacher to develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and monitor student progress. You will foster a nurturing environment and collaborate with staff to ensure safety and positive daily experiences for children.

Preferred candidates have an Associates degree or CDA, 2–5 years in a licensed center, and strong communication with families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 45 DCF Hours completed.
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA certification preferred.
• 2-5 years experience in a certified child development center.
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop and smartphone.
• Strong communication with parents and staff.
• Patience, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education.

Are You Qualified?

If you have the following, we would love to speak with you:

• High School Diploma or GED
• 45 DCF Hours
• Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development / CDA Certified preferred
• 2-5 years prior experience working in a certified child development center
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.
• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members, is required.
• The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education is essential for this role.
