Job summary

StarChild Academy, part of the Endeavor Schools family, seeks a Support Childcare Teacher for the afternoons on a part-time basis. You’ll help lead engaging activities, ensure child safety, monitor progress, and foster a harmonious classroom environment across our schools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate’s degree in early childhood development / CDA certification preferred but not required.
• 6 months prior experience in a certified child development center (1 year preferred).
• Prior experience with the assigned age group.

• Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
• Monitor children’s progress and development.

Are You Qualified?

Whether or not you have experience working in schools, you may be qualified to work with us.The most important quality is that you love working with children.Some of our best educators have come from other fields, including customer service, healthcare, retail, and more!

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree in early childhood development / CDA Certified preferred but not required

• Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
• Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone.
