A leading education provider is seeking a dedicated Lead Teacher for their academy in Buffalo. The role involves developing engaging curricula, managing classroom operations, and fostering a nurturing environment for children. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field and experience in childcare or education settings. The Lead Teacher will create an interactive and supportive atmosphere while promoting children's cognitive and emotional development.
Overview : A Lead Teacher (LE3) at a LE3 Academy is responsible for developing the curriculum while managing the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. LTs must understand childrens cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development in order to ensure a safe and stimulating environment where children are actively engaged and encouraged to succeed. The LT must be skilled in communicating with both children and adults in order to meet the needs of the children, effectively guide teacher assistants, and resolve parental concerns.
Qualifications : The LT must have the following education, experience, and certification requirements :
Job Responsibility : In addition to the following duties and responsibilities, all LTs are expected to perform other reasonable duties or tasks as assigned by the director
Lessons should be scaffolded to ensure that students are meeting age-appropriate milestones throughout the course of the program
Create and follow a daily schedule that is active, engaging, and robust
Communicates daily with parents via our app.
The LT should complete or delegate to an Assistant Teacher
Demonstrates and maintains job-related knowledge
Learn & Play : actively engages in play-based learning with children and encourages positive attitudes such as imagination & curiosity
Training Expectations : There is mandatory training that must be completed at hiring and on an annual basis in order to maintain a position with LE3. All training completed outside of working hours will be paid for by LE3 (time and cost of course).

Hours : all LTs are required to be full-time, and there is minimal flexibility in the time of day the lead works as we follow an academic schedule :
