Job summary

LeafSpring Schools Geist is seeking an experienced Preschool Teacher to lead a nurturing classroom focused on preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skills. You will mentor assistant teachers and partner with families to support each child’s growth.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1–2 years of classroom experience in licensed preschool or early childhood center.
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (required or in progress).
• Knowledge of state childcare licensing regulations and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a classroom that promotes preschool readiness and social-emotional development.
• Mentor assistant teachers and collaborate with families.
• Lead circle time, learning centers, and classroom transitions.
• Maintain structured, safe, and nurturing environment aligned with Cognia standards.
