Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (required or in progress)
• Minimum 1-2 years of classroom experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center
• Ability to lead classroom activities and routines with confidence and consistency
• Strong knowledge of child development, learning domains, and early intervention best practices

Responsibilities

• Create and manage a classroom that promotes preschool readiness, emotional intelligence, and social skill development while mentoring assistant teachers
• Develop and implement lesson plans based on developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) and individualized instruction
• Lead circle time, group activities, learning centers, and classroom transitions
• Maintain open communication with families through daily updates and scheduled conferences
• Collaborate with school administrators and fellow teachers to ensure alignment with school goals and state licensing standards
