Job summary

KinderCare seeks an experienced Lead Teacher to guide and mentor classroom staff, implement the company’s curriculum, and foster a safe, nurturing learning environment for children. You will collaborate with parents to support each child’s development and engage with center leadership to promote enrollment and accreditation.

Qualifications

• Must have outstanding customer service skills and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to multi-task and handle multiple situations effectively.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy or willing to obtain.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• English reading, writing, speaking for communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that supports each child’s unique needs.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to support the child’s education and care.
• Support center success by collaborating with staff and leadership on enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, and community partners.
