Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and one year of related experience.
• Experience with construction, fabrication, or exhibit design.
• Knowledge of museum-standard matting and framing.
• Proficient in Outlook and other communication tools.
• Experience handling, packing, and storing artwork.

Responsibilities

• Matting, framing, and mounting artworks; wall and signage design and fabrication.
• Packing, unpacking, and movement of works of art within galleries and storage.
• Assist in gallery renovations, installation, and lighting of displayed artworks.
• Maintain care and organization of the permanent collection and related spaces.
• Collaborate with contract staff; assist training and oversight as needed.
