Job summary

Construction Material Testing is seeking a Precast Concrete Inspector II to lead plant quality control for precast and prestressed production, or perform owner and agency inspections for DOT and structural programs. You will verify prestressing operations, review mix designs and strength records, accept or reject finished products, and maintain QC records to support PCI and DOT certifications.

This role requires PCI Quality Control Personnel Certification Level II, 2+ years in a certified plant,

Qualifications

• PCI Level II Certification (current) required.
• 2+ years of experience in a certified precast or prestressed plant.
• Knowledge of PCI MNL-116/MNL-117 and DOT precast specs.
• Ability to supervise Level I inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Verify prestressing operations and strength records.
• Review mix designs and batch tickets.
• Accept or reject finished products per specs.
• Maintain QC records for PCI and DOT programs.
• Supervise Level I inspectors and assign coverage.
• Lead owner/agency inspections as outside eye.
