Qualifications

Full Job Description:

You would plan and implement an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning approach to teaching and learning.

Primrose School at West Woods is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age.

Compensation and Benefits:

  1. This role pays up to $18 - $23.50 per hour with relevant experience and qualifications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  1. Must be Lead Qualified!
  2. Responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.
  3. Observe all rules and regulations at Primrose School at West Woods and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.
  4. Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.
  5. Implement the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum and programming.
  6. Plan with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.
  7. Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.
  8. Provide verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.
  9. Accept responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
  10. Attend all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.
  11. Maintain overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School at West Woods Employee Handbook.
  12. Assist in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.
  13. Follow State Licensing Regulations.
  14. Follow and implement Primrose Schools policies and curriculum.
  15. Have flexibility with work schedule and classroom assignments.
  16. Have passion and respect for young children.
  17. Pass a Colorado Background Check and Trails before starting.
