Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking a State Pre-K Lead Teacher responsible for planning, assessing, and instructing to meet each child’s needs and the program requirements. We want change makers who stay curious, inventive and open-hearted to prepare children for Kindergarten and beyond.

You’ll lead the classroom, mentor fellow teachers, implement the curriculum, and be the expert on licensing guidelines and center standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in early childhood education or related field.
• Experience leading a classroom with lesson planning.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center standards.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage with children.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging, interactive learning experiences and mentor fellow teachers.
• Promote social, physical, and intellectual development of preschool children.
• Lead classroom management and curriculum implementation per licensing and company standards.
• Build relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support child achievement and center success.
