Job summary

A leading company in early childhood education is seeking a Lead Pre K Teacher who will create a nurturing and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate will have a growth mindset and a passion for developing young minds. Responsibilities include classroom management, implementing the L.E.A.P. Curriculum, and building relationships with families. This role requires at least 2 years of teaching experience and an Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

Role Responsibilities:
  1. Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment.
  2. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.
  3. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschool children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
  4. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
  5. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions.
  6. Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement.
  7. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.
Qualifications:
  • At least 2 years of professional teaching experience required.
  • Associate degree or higher in ECE or related degree required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP).
  • CPR and First Aid certification required.
  • Must meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
