Job summary

Mercy Medical Center, Inc. seeks a Lead Practice Support Specialist to lead an elite team ensuring efficient operation of physician practices across the Mercy network in the Baltimore metro area.

The LPSS will manage the team assignment schedule, participate in recruitment and training, and ensure continuing education compliance while supporting the PE offices on special projects. Travel to multiple practices is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a medical office setting with leadership experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an elite team for efficient operation of physician practices.
• Manage the assignment schedule for the team.
• Participate in recruitment and training of new team members.
• Ensure team compliance with continuing education requirements.
• Provide support during absences across the Physician Enterprise.
• Travel to practices around the metropolitan area as needed.
• Support PE administrative offices and on special projects.
