Job Summary: The Lead Practice Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the front office daily activities at assigned practice group locations, ensuring quality customer service to in-person and remote patients and clinicians.

Duties/Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
- Create a positive work environment; support in-office clinician and staff engagement activities to promote LFST culture, engagement, and connection.
- Conduct schedule preparations, ensuring paperwork, documentation, and demographics are accurate, and charts are ready.
- Manage general office duties to ensure smooth practice operations.
- Monitor phone queue operations to align resources with demand.
- Coordinate efforts across Practice Coordinators to meet KPIs.
- Lead implementation of new processes as directed by management.
- Fill in for front office vacancies to ensure resource availability.
Patient Support:
- Provide exceptional customer service, handle sensitive situations following Crisis and De-escalation Processes.
- Manage front desk duties, greeting and checking in/out patients courteously.
- Assist with payment, billing, scheduling, release requests, and inquiries via phone, email, or portal.
- Manage call queues to ensure timely responses.
- Assist patients with telehealth, portal issues, and troubleshooting.
- Handle urgent requests, triage patient issues, and escalate as needed.
- Collect co-payments and account balances at the time of service.
- Verify insurance eligibility and resolve issues with patients.
Clinician Support:
- Assist clinicians with administrative tasks such as sending correspondence.
- Coordinate with clinicians on patient questions.
- Audit and support clinician scheduling for accuracy.
Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to multitask, prioritize, work independently and in teams, with strong communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office & EMRs. Capable of handling sensitive, confidential information (HIPAA).
Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. 2+ years in healthcare operations or 1+ year of exceptional performance in a similar role.
